  1. I think the Spotlight tool is helpful. When searching for something it makes it much easier to start typing what your thinking verses searching through lists.

For my very technology savy self, :) I think the getting back a deleted app. tip would be very helpful if I accidentally delete an app that I paid for! I think all of us at some point have deleted something we didn't mean to and more times that not, its just gone! Well, not when an app. is deleted on the good ol' iPad.

  2. So many of the tips come in handy. Making sure your apps are really turned off to preserve power. Didn't realize all USB ports won't charge the iPad. Taking a google earth screenshot is cool. Playing full screen movies while hooking the sound up to stereo was also fun.

  3. Love the quick mute! Such a good idea that you would probably figure out in a hurry, but is nice to know in advance. Like John S., I also thought it was very useful to know about apps you really don't use draining your battery. As a consumer, I thought the tip about dead pixels was very useful as well.

  4. Lots of great tips. I changed my default signature and figured out how to move apps to a new location. I also imported some books and downloaded some free podcasts. - Cindy

  5. Tip #6 Turn iPad caps lock on was helpful...it is often frustrating trying to hold down the shift button when you need to type a word all in caps. I also didn't know you could capture a screen shot (tip 81) on your iPad. Finally, I am really excited about the possibility of turning my Wi-Fi iPad into a 3G (tip 100) I like the fact I wouldn't have to pay a $30.00 monthy fee for a service I really only need occasionally. Now I have to find out how much a Novatel MiFi portable wireless router costs.

  6. I learned a lot of new tricks. Activated the pass code for iTunes. Now the kids will have to check before getting any apps. I also loved the short cut for scrolling back to the top of a page. It will also be useful to organize all the apps by pages. That will make using the iPad in class easier. Students won't have to search through all the apps to find the ones they can use. Now to get things organized and to use the iPad in the classroom.

  7. It was helpful to find out how to turn on the caps lock - finally! That will save me some time :) I knew how to move icons around but I had kinda forgotten that I could do that and now that I've added new apps it was time to reorganize, so I did. Lots of helpful tips!

  8. I have to say that many of the tips were a repeat of the previous week's link. However I am still enjoying finding out some of the little tips that work on both my iPad and my iPhone. Spotlight has quickly become one of my favorite programs. However the tip about double clicking the space bar at the end of sentences is a wonderful time saver!!

  9. So it wasn't really 100 tips as many of the tips were repeated throughout the doc. However, I was fascinated by what the iPad can do. I will refer to this doc often. Things I was most impressed with include using the Pad as a digital photo frame, taking screen shots, tips for streaming video on the Pad, adding an icon for your most visited websites (Powerschool), and being able to sync my google calendar with the iPad.
